Hi
I have an Apple Airport Extreme base station with modem and external antenna connector. I am wanting to connect this base station to an external antenna to provide wireless access across my 40 acre property along with my home. I am currently using a Hawking indoor omni-directional antenna which is not suitable for outdoor use. I am looking at your 12Dbi or 15Dbi OMNI antenna and would like to know if I can use this antenna along with the proper cable for outdoor use. I only need a cable about 3-4 ft in length to go from the box I plan on mounting the base station in and the antenna mounting location.

The antenna should be ok to work with your area higher gain get longer distacne, connect the Antenna to your router you need the RF type 50ohm cable, for your cable length I will suggest that you choose the LLC200 type, you can give us the mode number of you Apple router then we can check it for you.
