RV Park-What would you recommend to extend Wireless modem range ?
Author burnsey Posted time 2009-11-27 14:19:46
Contents I would like to know , from those of you that are much more knowledgeable than I am ,which equipment or accessories I would need to have my wireless router's range extended as far as possible based on the following facts:

>I have an Actiontec wireless router 724 series with DSL . I recently upgraded from 1.5 to 3 mb per sec.( Maximum available speed in this area )

>There are numerous structures between myself and other computers I need to connect to this router.
(By structures, I mean campers, moble homes, motor homes, etc.)

>At this point I'd like to be able to pick up the Internet Signal at least 300-400 yards (900-1200 Ft) from my router.

>I am located where I have the ability to place an antennae to the top of the building but would require 20 - 30 ft of coax to go from my wireless router , outside the window , and to the top of the structure.

Question :

Which product or products would you recommend to access the wireless network service 900-1200 ft away from the router ? Based on this type router and the conditions described ?

I know installing an outside antennae would likely do what I need but before I do anything , I like to grt feedback from those of you who had a similar situation or those of you that are more knowledgeable in this area of wireless Internet Netetworks

Your suggestions, feedback, answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for your assistance -opinion in this matter.

Contents You can check below antenna set to work with your case,
Normally for 900-1200feet we will suggest our customer to get the antenna gain more than 12dBi to 16dBi.

Above link shows the 14dBi antenna set with the cable assembly and the USB adapter that can work with your laptop or desktop.

Thank you very much.
