I have a USB 500mW adapter on it's way to me. The cd software drivers that comes with it; what is the required hard disk space for it, is it required to install this software for Windows xp with sp3 (some usb devices have software built in them for hot plug ins), and will it mess anything up in computer?
Also the link I see you're providing for those who have problems installing software, how could they help?

The driver for the computer won't be more than 2mb,
And it won't mess up any thing, please don't worry about this.
The Realtek company which is the company process the chipset for the the USB adapter.
They can help you for the software problem.
