I have a Belkin G wireless router connected to Hughesnet satellite in the house and I need to get connected to my shop which is about 500' feet away. I'm little confused about what kind of setup I need. On the "Newbie In WiFi??" page there is a diagram for a such a setup but what is the difference of RSMA and RTNC and which would be the one I should go with? would a different router help?
Thanks

The antennae can't be removed, however, it seems like I'm having issues with my router anyway. So do you have a recommendation on a router and then what other equipment would I need to get a signal to my shop?

The RSMA or the RTNC which is the connection from your router,
So you need to make sure the antenna on your router can be unscrew off, if the antenna can't be removed then you can don't work with other antennas.
When you confirm the connection type then you can choose the RSMA or RTNC type antenna set to work with you case.
Thank you very much.
