I am setting up a system at roof top level to connect my house to the work using external antennae I was wondering if you could suggest a router that incorporates dsl and an AP to connect the antennae to it at the workplace and an ap router at home. I'm in the process of installing the antennae's as per solution 2 as provided by you.

We will suggest that you can get the D-Link or Linksys router and AP to setup your case.
The important thing is if you choose the D-Link router it will be better use the D-Link AP to work with.
For same brand name router and AP will easy to setup.
