I have someone that wants to connect to her sister wifi, the houses are about 120 yard away. There is a shed partially in the way but I don't think it will pose major problems. Sister1 can get the signal on her deck with a regular laptop so it is close. She now has a desktop in her far bedroom and wants to get the internet. Sister2 that has the wireless has a Linksys WRT54GS w/speedboost router/ap. My question is what will work. I think if sister1 can get a signal with just a laptop outside then just a high powered antenna should work for the desktop. What is the best suggestion of what to use? They are somewhat price conscious as well. Thanks! Clint

For only one Laptop or the desktop use, you can choose the 500mW USB adapter with the antenna set to receive the signal.

The laptop part you might need to disable the build in wireless,
For the desktop you can just plug in the install the drvier to work with.
