boosting signal to marina customers
Author jezebelle Posted time 2009-08-02 13:39:56
Contents 1: We use an n router, will customers with b or g cards be able to pick up the same signal quality? 2: Our router has 2 rubber antennas (about 5" tall), do we need to have 2 different boosters? 3: Is there a limit to how many customers can use the system at the same time and if there are more usera will their signals be weaker? 4; How do we determine which db booster we need? (our building is approx. 300yds from the furthest boat. Also we need approx. 90 degrees of projection to cover all boats.) 5: We plan on mounting the booster antenna on the upper outside corner of our building which is approx. 15' from the router. Which cable do you recommend?

Contents Regarding to your question,

1: We use an n router, will customers with b or g cards be able to pick up the same signal quality?
Ans: It will be better setup with 802.11b/g also to make them can receive good signal quality, sometime b/g card can't get the stable signl from N router.

2: Our router has 2 rubber antennas (about 5" tall), do we need to have 2 different boosters?
Ans: we get the N type router you can check from below website that you can use only one booster to work with your n type router.

3: Is there a limit to how many customers can use the system at the same time and if there are more usera will their signals be weaker?
Ans: The router does has the limit user, it you might need to check with the company which you get the router, and more user is working with your router the signal will be slow ans weak.

4; How do we determine which db booster we need? (our building is approx. 300yds from the furthest boat. Also we need approx. 90 degrees of projection to cover all boats.)
Ans: For about 300yard, you can choose the Antenna that more than 10dBi to work with, for boat we will suggest that you can choose the Omni directional type antenna.

5: We plan on mounting the booster antenna on the upper outside corner of our building which is approx. 15' from the router. Which cable do you recommend?
Ans: For about 15' you can choose the LLC200 type adapter cable to work with. before you order you will need to check the correct connection then get the adapter cable to work with.

Thank you very much.
