no cd rom downloads from this site for antenna drivers

if i down load from this site,ie purchase wifi antenna boost set but have to download from this site will it negate the STOCK wifi build in. or does it take over and you have no way back so to speak on oem wifi capabilities.i mean plainn and simple can i still go to coffe house and use built in wifi which works fine there or have to bring and set up external antenna all the time. or does it aloow you to use both built in or external. i just need to boost the one bar from my house to 4/5 like i get at the wifi coffee houses.tried cantenna whata joke or does that require driver download as well. isn't there anything you can just plug into usb and be good to go.????

Regarding to your question,
At the moment all the USB adapter will need the driver to work with,
If you are sitting in the coffee shop. you don't need to bring your USB adapter with the antenna to receive the signal you can still use your build in wireless card to receive it.
Once you think the build in wireless signal is not strong enough then you change to use the USB adapter with the antenna.
When you use the USB adapter it doesn't mean you can not use your build in wireless, just make sure you are not using in the same time.
