Have a friend one floor up, maybe 500 ft. away. He has a router and has agreed to let me share. Problem, I seem to be at the very limit of his range. If/when I connect I get only a very low signal. Lose connection often. How can I increase my reception? I am new to this wireless connection biz. Everything I read seems to be used with the router to increase the range. I want help on the other end, something to help me pull it in better.
