I just purchased the grid antenna 24dbi. I hooked it up to a wireless bridge Linksys WET54G. I pointed it to the router and I can not get a signal. There is no signal. I have no access to the router so I can not upgrade the router antenna. The connection is about 1000ft away and this 24dbi antenna supposed to take very far. What is the problem? Do I need to purchase the 500mW usb adapter? Why it is not working?

Because the antenna has very small Beamwidth deg, you need to get corret point to get the signal.
For 1000ft, you can choose the Panel type 16dBi to 20dBi with large beanwidth to get the better wireless signal.
Normally the router will only proivde the 100mW power to work with the antenna, and it will get more signal if you make the signal more stronger from the transmit side.
Thank you very much
