I have a linksy GPC1 adapter in my desktop for wireless service and need pitail cable for that and for what you recomend to pick up a signal which is about .5 mile away down a hill not in line of sight. What cable type and length and type of antenna. Can be mounted on the outside of my house.

At the first you might check the connection from your PCI card and the cable length you need then we can make the correct suggestion for the adapter cable to you.
