Please help with my WDS.
Author 2001rotax Posted time 2007-12-15 18:52:52
Contents I have high speed internet and want to share it outside of my house. I had a wrt54g with 3rd party firmware already to boost the signal. I have also installed twin 7db antennas ( which don.t seem to help) and place them outside. The houses I am trying to get to are directly across the street 300ft. I can get a decent signal on my lap top on the front porch, but once i enter the house it drops out.

I was thinking about a Omni anntena and if the signal was not that great, then maybe repeaters at there house.s. Good choice?
Would there be any bandwidth loss this way?

Contents If you would like to transmit the siganl to about 3000feet, only the 7dBi dipole antenna won.t be enough.

I will suggest that you can choose the Panel 14dBi to work with. which can be on your case.

Below is the link for this antenna,

You might also need the adapter cable to work between the antenna and the router, you can email us the cable length you need then we can provide the information to you.

Thank you very much
