In order to accommodate several (4 to 6) wirless handheld scanners on our factory floor. I would like to use two or three WRT54GLs running third-party firmware. In that these routers will in in cooled metalic cabinets, I will need locate the antennae outside of the cabinets. Each of these rounters can be easily be hardwired to our network. I assume that each of the routers will external connections for each of the two antennae. Even so, I am absolutely confused as to what to buy. I know that the connectors on the back of the router are R(P)-TNC. The cables would not need to be very long just to connect to the outside of the cabinet. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
