my question is ,am i be able to connect all of my clints in 5 miles radius . also there is no visible line of side means it is semi commercial area and some of the spots has even higher building then my expected tower location.other problem is that on clint side they can.nt afford expensive equiptment suce as cpe or ap

Contents 5 miles radius.. unless you have thousand of dollars to spend there isnt any cheap solution... Every of your client will required a Grid antenna with a 1 watt booster..

I did 9km with 2 grid antenna 24dbi pointing each other, aligned very carefully with special equipment. both side had 1 watt booster.

Using WRT54GL modified with dd-wrt on both side :).

Reply I.ve tried this set Reply Time 2007-03-15 20:24:15
Contents I have the 15dbi omni on top of my building with the 1 watt boster like you describe, and I am only getting about 130 to 150m (less than 1/2 mile) range out of it. I have tried another 8dbi omni, and even tried it without the booster at all, and still get the same range.

I.d sure be interested to hear if anyone has a solution to this problem.
