4.I have seen AP of 108mbps DLINK DWL 2100ap .is there Routers too in same speed category???

Regarding to your question,

At the first you will need the ROUTER to start the wireless.
2.Can i use a router and aAP in repeater mode to amplify the signal??
I wil suggest that you use AP in repeater mode to amplify the wirelese signal

Normally AP will have more fuction then router.
