I have a d-link 624 router in the back of my house on the first floor and a computer in the front of my house on the second floor, which has only a usb wireless adapter with built-in antenna. I.d like to improve the connection to the computer on the second floor. This is an older house with plaster walls. Which antenna would you recommend for the router? Or should I also consider changer the adapter on the second floor.s computer to one that would take an external adapter?
Thanks.

Regarding to your question,
You can try our Omni antenna 8dbi with the antenna base,

to improve the signal range from our D-Link 624 router,
You also can add one USB adapter with 7dbi dipole antenna with your computer,
