Grid Antenna
Author DG Posted time 2006-07-11 02:14:45
Contents 1) Hi I would like to purchase a grid antenna to attach to a linksys Wet 54g Bridge to help pick up a weak signal on the signal bar I have only 1 stroke and wonder if this setup will improve.

2) What type of connector will I need at the end of the grid antenna (24db) this antenna will be mounted appromx 30 feet in the air and will put the bridge in a weatherproof housing using POE to supply power to it. or is there another Antenna setup you might recommend keeping the cost down.

3) Do you ship to Toronto ontario canada and can I order online, can the public buy from you, I would like to purchase this setup what will be my cost arrived to my doorsteps.

Contents Regarding to your question,

1) I will suggest that you build this antenna from the transmit side, it will get better performance.

2) the connection for the antenna will be N female type, and for the WET 54G will be SMA female RP. So the antenna will be with the WET 54G in the air. for the 30feet part you can use the Cat5e cable to work with.
When you choose the adapter cable for the WET to antenna it will be SMA male RP to N male RP.

3) We do ship the goods to Canada, normally we use the UPS to ship the order to our customer, if you don.t mind you can order from our website, the system will check the freight charge to you.

If you have any other quetion please feel free to contact us.

Best Regards
