My apartment building provides wifi service. Unfortunately I.m unable to receive any signal inside my apartment. If, however, I exit my apartment and walk 50 feet toward the stairwell I get perfect reception. Do you sell a product where I can place an antenna near the stairwell and run a cable 50 feet into my apartment, attaching the anenna cable (via USB) into my laptop (Powerbook G3/Pismo/Firewire)? Thanks.

Regarding to your question,
You can try the USB wireless adapter with the RF cable plus the antenna to solve this problem.
The cable will be N male to SMA male RP LLC400 L=15m, please check below website:

Because the cable length is about 15m, so that we will use the out door high gain antenna PAnel 12dbi to face the hot spot.
