Best adapter for me, receive & send and refund policy if it doesn't work

Hi. Just a few questions:
I live in a mountain area in the U.S. My closest wi-fi hotspot is about 1 mile from my home. Becaue of trees, there is no line of sight. I would be able to mount an exterior antenna about 30 feet off the ground on the side of the house aimed in the general direction of the hotspot but would probably need about 30 feet of cable to do that.
What would be the best adapter set up for my situation.
If I can pick up the signal from the wi-fit hotspot, will I also be able to send and receive once the connection established or does sending require a different antenna?
If I purchase the system and it doesn't work, what is your return/refund policy and how much time do I have to try the system before returning if it doesn't work?

1. For receive the signal, We will suggest that you choose the 500mW USB adapter with the GRID 24dBi antenna to work with.

Above link is the GRID antenna with the adapter cable that can work with USB adapter.
2. If you would like to receive the signal first then share the signal to other computer inside you house, then you have to get the AP bridge from the "Best Buy" or " Fry's", then get the same antenna set from above to receive the signal.
Then buy another AP to work the AP bridge with LAN cable then share the signal inside your house.
