I have Comcast High Speed Internet, hooked to a D-Link Wireless router, then I have a D-Link Range Extender (Repeater) sitting at my window. His window is directly across from mine about 50 feet. His computer is probably about 10 feet from the window. His computer will jump around from 30% signal to 99% signal strength. His mbps also jumps around between 6, 18, 24, and 32mbps. I thought about trying to change the channel on the router, but after looking around here, there might be a better/stronger way. I want to give him the best signal and fastest speed possible. We are gammers and he also likes to download music. Any help or advice would help.

You can add the indoor booster to increase the transmit signal,
