One is 400 feet away and the other is 2000 feet away, both with line of sight and about 30 degrees apart. Would a 11 dBi Panel antenna work at the AP for both houses and which antenna would be best at the house 2000 feet away? Reply WIFI-LINK Reply Time 2007-11-28 03:29:47 Contents I will suggest that you can choose the Omni 12dBi antenna from the transmit side, The 400feet location you can choose the Panel 10dBi antenna to receive the wireless signal, The 2000feet location you can choose the Panel 18dBi antenna to receive the wireless signal. You can try use the Omni antenna first if the signal is not stronger enough then add other antenna to receive the wireless signal.
